that's barely a month away.

wheeeee!! SCHOOL WAS SO FUN:D its more full of nonsense than usual. first, CHINESE. omg. laoshi was trying to go through some newspaper article on dating and premarital sexs. or something like that. she said “同学们，老师已经结婚了，对发生感性有舍么问题就敢敢问！” hahaha. laoshi is pro la, she was later using hokkien and malay to explain some of it too. i think i'll rather discuss sexs in chinese with laoshi than in english with my parents. ARGH. it just seems less real when its all in chinese XD


then then during math. as usual, mr lee was being all FAIL and NAG and grumble. it was during the 9am primary school recess, so like all the little kids were running around screaming and making noise. mr lee went to the window and opened his mouth, but suddenly rachel (the prefect) shouted from her seat, "CAN YOU KIDS GO AWAY?! SHHHH!! QUIET!!" when mr lee was still standing there. i think the kids probably thought mr lee had a really effeminate voice, and got scared. they all ran away in terror while our class rolled around laughing.


well the rest of the day passed uneventfully... until we did a surprise celebration for unnie poonie at the end of school. even though everyone had to rush off for CCA and cip (me and theo) we managed to organise most of it during free period and celebrate during lunch. we even learnt how to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY in korean just for poonie. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT OKAY!!:D

HUNGER
what am i supposed to write about hunger? it is not something that i have experienced in my whole life, being born in a privileged environment and it was not my character to write of something i had utterly no knowledge of. as a result, many trees were killed as countless pieces of uncompleted scripts were crushed and dumped. every single word i wrote sounded fake and somehow could not come together. i tried everything; from writing a story about people going hungry to writing an essay that kept on ranting about the biological process that causes hunger but i got bored to sleep, just reading them myself. so eventually i gave up and stared at my blank piece of paper, prepared to receive zero for that assignment. then again, one mark is better than none so i have it one last shot and well, this is it. to this point, at least that's all that i've got.

Now, im just going to hand it in and... wait a second, i just had an idea. oh man, what a cheap shot but her goes nothing. [OMG SHE ACTUALLY WROTE "OH MAN" TO EDNA'S COMPO, SHE DESERVES AN AWARD. 8D HAHAHA OH XUANNIE!]

once upon a time, in a far, far, far, far, far away land, there was a person who could not write composition for nuts [OMG. NUTS. 8D]... sorry, wrong story. let me try again. not so long ago in Methodist Girls school, there was a student who was nowhere as elite as the school itself was. what made it worse was that the student was incredibly playful and refused to sit down and study for more than a minute, thus the result was that she failed every exam and test that existed in the whole world that she took. the student belonged to a well to do family and thus never had to go hungry physically, that is. but after years of failing miserably for every subject she took, she developed a hunger to do well and get good grades. unfortunately, as the girl never learnt how to remedy hunger because she never had a need to learn, the hunger was never satisfied and the student continued doing badly in her studies. however, due to dumb luck and the mercy of her teachers, she always advanced to the next level after each year of schooling. the student took promotion for granted and did not work to eliminate the hunger.

one fine day however, after the student had yet again failed all her subjects, the principal decided that enough was enough and this student must learn. so this student was retained in secondary three in hope that she would work hard and satisfy her hunger of passing for once and getting good grades.

in a way, the harsh method worked because from then on, no only did the student learn not to take promotion for granted again, she did also began to work towards satisfying the hunger of doing well and getting promoted to secondary four, not advanced. whether the student will succeed or not though, that another story for another day and besides, it is too early to tell. after all, it is only January and i am secondary three, aren’t I?

i know that this is not the best of all stories, but it is the only one i have that is even mildly related to hunger. alright, i need to go and prepare myself for the zero i am going to get for this piece of work. farewell._

why i like chinese. because of many reasons. i think i was mostly influenced during the asia conference, where there were so many chinese-speaking delegates around. and they ONLY speak chinese. so its really awesome that you know how to talk to them, while most other people just look blur/lost when they ask for directions and stuff. haha. they seriously take pride in their chinese, and its DAMN POWER. REALLY POWERFULL STUFF.

i remember waking up with a SUPER BAD OWWW FFFF !@#$%@# LEG CRAMP this morning. i have this tendency to sleep with one foot twisted under the other. its just been habbit.i woke up screaming this morning cos it was AAAAGH AWFUL AND JUST BAD. what an awful start to what i thought was a going to be a horrible day D: i wanted to skip school cos of that... and i got really mad when my mom didnt allow. then, i got even more depressed cos i remembered i was supposed to fast today too and i just felt i didnt have the strength to. then, horrible PE and Drama later. i remember praying, 'oh gods, help me, thank you God for helping me survive today, please help me' )':
but then, FASTING AND PRAYING DOES HELP(((((((((: even though it seems it'll just cause more harm in a situation like this...

yes if you must know, me and joey have been busy blowing each other's heads off over the past few days. so, its such a huge relief to make back up with joey!(: we sort of paperred it over during our recess(: i think we were both really frustrated and just needed to shout at something:D which turned out to be each other, but at least we're solved now(: its really sad how on fridays, we're the only two from jjang who has the 11oclock recess:/ but today it really helped la(:

yes, it has to be just about the most relaxxxing thing ever(: even though pretty much the whole school can see you if they cran their necks out of their classrooms. hahah. i think we're the only two gay freaks in the whole history of mg to ever cloud-watch-from-the-useless-quadrangle:D


Through the day, i learnt to lean on God's strength instead. I found that actually, the day went alot smoother even though i was fasting. like, my bio spa was actually a breeze:D NO ANOMALOUS STUPID RESULTS!! O: i had so much time left i started randomly mixing all the left over potato and hydrogen peroxide thingyies:D fizzle fizzle bubbly dizzle. and even though i had PE and drama, and my stomach was chewing itself from all the physical exercises, i just kept praying whenever i felt the pangs coming and they left. fasting always draws you closer to god at the end of the day(: it makes you more sensitive to the spirit i guess, if you're not permanently digesting food like a pig:D its a challenge, but look to the reward, my friends. we shall run our races well.

OH NO, NEW PROBLEMMMM. aish, rachy and maria are at it again. like ... hmmm. fire and water. not lovers. but you kno, both are really really strong about their opinions and damn stubborn at times, and seem to clash at every possible thing:D hahah. i mean it in a good way, i dont wanna make things worse k? :D but sometimes i wish they wouldnt take offence so easily and all. maria has no life and rachy has too much(: sigh. ITS IMBA AND YOO KNOW IT.

well, i guess sometimes managing all the different politics in jjang is like running a country, you have to be diplomatic about what you say while trying to bring your meaning across - without offending, and then you have to make strong allies for wars like these so that it settles quickly, you have struggles for power (OH NO IT REALLY DOES HAPPEN LIKE SO D8) .. and dont even get us started about organising all those crazy party events D: its a pain to throw and yet necessary cos theyre so fun after that:D sigh. at this point i must really applaud rachy and pumbaa for all the effort they have put in to generally govern the epic country of JJANG:D hahah.

well. im going to try to sort out all this problems with a cold heart tmr. i really dont want to break down in school. i dont know what will happen then. im just holding out till sunday... when i'll receive my hugs and God's blessing. maybe this is just a trial. today was my first day of fasting for this week. everything becomes thrice as hard when you fast because you're just emotionally and physically weak. i couldnt think straight, except about food and resisting it. drama in the canteen with the GB girls was just a torture because they HAD SUCH AN ABUNDANCE OF DELICIOUS-SMELLING FOOD... sigh. i just have to learn to rely even more on God's strength and protection. i wish i could say that i'll be okay... but i really dont know.

TODAY i went to nus. it was really strange, when i boarded the campus shuttle bus the uncle was giving me strange looks D: it doesnt help i was still in mg uniform:/ NUS IS SO BIG. D8 but it was quite good la. only the way home... sigh. its my first time in nus alone. i called my mom but i couldnt reach her. there was no choice left but to take a bus home... even though there IS no straight bus, and i have never been inside nus before. but whatever, she's done that i-cant-pick-you-up-find-your-own-way thing a couple of times, ever since p6, even though she knows i hate it. i once got lost when i was P5, when i had to take bus back from some ulu place in toh tuck or sth. it was the horriblye-dark-ohno-time already, and you know how in the back roads the bus only comes every half and hour or sth D: not very nice. ):
