i cannot believe i fell for it.
and by
two of my best friends somemore!! AHHHH!!! I'LL NEVER INTRODUCE YOU TO ANYONE, EVER, YOU ASSES!!!! AHAHAHAH! OMG. sigh. i swear i stand corrected, you CAN fake an aussie accent,
(admitedly, it IS sexy), and whatever, i am never conferencing with you two EVER again... sigh. explains why im so deaded on friday. i'll have the scoundrels strung and quartered by monday. 8)
well anw, my muskle aches are healing! YAY! only that.. this wasnt even NAFA yet. and i feel super unfit for my 2.4 km run, im sure i'll just puke and
keel over on that day ;-; today... was fun though(:
me and sheryll went for the
Christian Lacroix (La-krau') Costumier Exhibitionat the national museum!! and somehow,
mr ong pulled some strings so that we got in,
and free of charge too ^0^ heheh.
well, went there to study opera styles and 18th century dressing. its not really a couture or made-to-wear fashion show, but more of a collection of his pieces of creation for operas such as
Carmen, Eliogabalo, and Cosi Fan Tutte (omg cute!). somehow all of those operas involve romance, and end with either death by suicide or the lovers are driven to insanity. sigh. gotta love these dark operas though, i think i belong to the 18th century. ^-^
anw, his works feature specially on the material and cut of each dress, its really unique. and there are some androgynous styles, ITS DAMN COOL. must be cos dear mr Lacroix was
bisexual anyway. ssss-sexy. i think i have a zillion pictures, i cant wait to show stong! :O
the other part of the night was spent at the
Moleskine books exhibition in Kino, orchard. sheryll and i spent the next few hours just sieveing books off the shelves for referencing:D ehehe. to think whoever said art was easy! no, it involves painful hours of back-breaking research when you try to source for
acceptable artist references. (ie,
NO PORN!) but seriously. i think despite that, i quite like research for art. mr ong always scores me higher for the ton of reseach i give him that at least:/
