Perhaps others have interpreted your religion incorrectly for you from your holy book. I have a friend who is also a muslim and constantly tells me how in her culture men are constantly putting women down… although this is found no where in the holy book.

Being a Muslim is a blessing. We all make our mistakes the key is to learn 4m them and not to repeat them…. we r humans after all! I am a muslim and I made a big mistake I thought that God would never forgive me and that I would go to hell. Thankfully I have friends who care 4 me and guided me by telling me that there is such a thing as Twba and Haj.
Twba is when u do something against Islam but u regret it with all ur heart,and so u stop it for God. Performing Haj allows u to experience something like no other, u see life in a new way, it cleanses ur spearit and all ur bad deeds disappear u start a new page in life like the day u were born.
Now think about that for a sec do u think God didn’t know that there r ppl out there who will make big mistakes but regret making them? Haj is like a rehab center where u go to connect with God and ask him for his blessings and forgiveness and in return God allows u to start over open a new page and show him that u will never go upon that path again.
If u feel that performing Haj may take a while than connect with God through prayer. Make sure u pray all five prayers and make Dua after each prayer.
