siiiiiiiiiiiiiggggh.. FIR came to our church some time ago and performed this song. its been stuck in my head since. this song is so .. beautiful. somehow, chinese songs that succeed in getting into you are always better than their cheap english counterparts. of course, this is the translated version and nowhere as effective in expression as the original...
YUE YA WAN ~ F.I.R.
The grit of the heavens stars
Carries (with them) our memories
I look back midway
This Qin passage* is boundless and winding
Dream that I’ve passed through the Western Regions
Embodying how many rugged hills of Shandong
Love is like a traveling diary
I will seek its riddle
Look at the tears under the crescent moon bay
Forgotten above the Silk Road
chorus~
Whose heart is it
alone and left behind
Is he still well
How I want to love him
Those everlasting tears
Solidify that one sentence
Perhaps they can evaporate
Whose love is it
That is stronger than tears
Calling softly
(That can) let me melt
Every drop of rainwater
Strengthens into my wings
Running after the person that I love
and because i know you cant read this anyway...
bridge~
chorus~
